In this role, you will be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing advice on a wide range of legal matters. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, mitigate legal risks, and support the company's growth and success.
Description
- Manage legal and regulatory matters to support the work with insurers, customers, and partners globally;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to scope out strategic initiatives from a legal and regulatory point of view;
- Ensure reporting to company’s investors, insurers, and regulatory authorities;
- Draft, review, and revise contract documentation;
- Advice on regulatory issues.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in relevant position;
- Bachelor's Degree in Law (or related fields);
- Knowledge and experience with the EU law;
- Good communication skills (both verbal and listening);
- Fluency in both written and spoken English, Latvian and Russian;
- High attention to detail;
- Knowledge and experience with Latvian Labour Law;
- Previous experience working within a FinTech company is considered as advantage.
